Caragumoy (Pandanus Simplex)

Caragumoy (Pandanus Simplex) is a variety of screwpine distributed mostly in the inlands of Luzon and the Visayas Island. It is greenish Grey in color as it dries and is used traditionally for mat-making, hats, bags and baskets. CCAP developed this material fur-ther into cushion, footstools, bolsters and different functional trays and bins for the modern home.
