Louniel Handicrafts

Lourdes Rafon, owner and manager of Louniel Handicrafts, used to work as a secretary at a real estate agency where she met her husband, Daniel, who was an electrician.  A year after they got married, the couple decided to set-up their own business producing and selling wind chimes.  In 1998, Lourdes initiated to promote their business via telemarketing and was able to get in touch with CCAP who accommodatingly accepted their samples, and consequently, provided purchase orders.

The couple maintains a minimal number of workers whom they treat as part of their family.  They were able to provide them with small living quarters nearby their work area, and occasionally, involves them in family recreational activities.
